Welcome to Luna's, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Sayulita, Mexico. Located on Av. Revolucion 24, this charming restaurant offers not just a meal, but an experience steeped in vibrant flavors and warm hospitality. As you step through its doors, you’ll be enveloped by the inviting atmosphere and the enchanting aromas wafting from the kitchen.

Luna's is renowned for its incredible food, notably the sensational chicken mole that has left patrons raving. Customers like Stuart P have declared it "the best chicken mole of my life," but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The guacamole, volcanes, and tacos are equally delightful, providing a flavorful journey through traditional Mexican cuisine. The tacos, touted as "unreal" by Richard Lavery, come with an impressive selection of salsas—six types to spice up your meal to your heart's content.

But it’s not just the food that makes Luna's stand out. The attentive staff, described as "heroes" by Richard, create a welcoming environment that draws diners in for more than just a meal. The owner or bar man frequently mingles with guests, serving delicious tequila and ensuring that every patron feels at home. This personal touch is woven into the very fabric of Luna's, making each visit feel special.

For those who enjoy a good drink, Luna's won't disappoint. Featuring two-for-one mojitos and potentially the best margaritas around, the cocktail offerings complement the flavorful dishes perfectly. Megan Williams emphasized that the margaritas alone are worth the visit, appreciating both the quality and pricing.

As a food reviewer, I’ve experienced many dining spots, but Luna's genuinely resonates with me. Whether it’s the mouthwatering fish tacos that Colby Scott hailed as the best he’s ever had or the reasonably priced meals that allow you to indulge without breaking the bank, every aspect of Luna's encourages you to savor each moment. This is not just a restaurant; it’s a delightful culinary retreat that invites you to return again and again.

So if you find yourself in Sayulita, make sure to prioritize a visit to Luna's. With its delectable dishes and inviting service, you're in for a memorable culinary experience that truly embodies the spirit of Mexico.

Incredible food, service, and margaritas. Might have been the best chicken mole of my life. On a peaceful street near the main plaza. The guacamole, volcanes and tacos were delicious too. Highly recommend.

Irish travelling Mexico! Absolute gem hidden behind a corner. Tacos are unreal and the drinks are delicious. A meal for two with a couple of drinks each came in under 20. What makes it is the staff the manager/bar man is a hero who is going around chatting and serving tequila to people who want it. Top class

Luna’s is absolutely phenomenal, not only is the food delicious (best fish tacos I have ever had), the people and environment is fantastic! Super welcoming and enjoyable; the drinks are also fantastic! It is priced very reasonably, there are quite a few places around that are expensive, but at Luna’s the prices are great, the food is to die for and the staff make you feel right at home. My boyfriend and I have had dinner here twice so far on our trip and will be having it again before we leave. If you come to Sayulita, Luna’s is a must try.

A Hidden Gem in Sayulita — Luna's is a Must-Experience Culinary Treasure** During our recent stay in Sayulita, we stumbled upon a family-owned gem that redefined everything we thought we knew about Mexican cuisine. Tucked away from the overhyped, overpriced spots that often crowd travel guides, *Luna’s* delivered not just a meal—but a full-hearted experience. From the very first bite, it was evident: this was *authentic* cooking at its absolute finest. Each dish was masterfully prepared, with proteins cooked to perfection and sauces full of bold, unforgettable flavor—especially the chipotle, which easily ranks among the best we've ever tried. Beyond the flavors, what truly elevated Luna’s was the warmth and sincerity of the hospitality. We felt more like welcomed guests than customers, greeted with genuine smiles and treated like old friends. As Canadians used to polished but impersonal service, this felt refreshingly human. The prices? More than fair. In fact, we found that most of the mainstream, high-rated restaurants fell short—either on taste or value. Luna’s, by contrast, offered a five-star experience across the board: quality, price, service, and soul. So much so that we returned a second time during our 9-day trip—and are already planning one more visit before we depart. To anyone visiting Sayulita: do not miss out on Luna’s. Whether it’s the tacos, burritos, or the crowd-pleasing nachos, you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next return. Five out of five, without hesitation. Cheers, A very grateful (and full) traveler from Canada.

Stopped here for Happy Hour margaritas. Great service and atmosphere. Did not eat anything besides the guacamole, but it was very good and brought to us very quickly. The bartender, “Jimbo” was especially personable and friendly. Definitely recommend. I will be returning.
